I am Kashish Thanki, aka Kesar, and welcome to my little corner of the internet - Saffron Space. 

You might wonder about the name. Saffron, or "kesar" as we call it in Hindi, was my original name before Kashish. When I started writing poetry in 2019, I wanted to have a pen name for myself. That's when I started writing Nazm with the name "Kesar" in 2021. Just like how a few strands of saffron can elevate an entire dish, I believe words have that same transformative power. They can turn ordinary moments into something beautiful, meaningful, and memorable. 

This space is born from my love for poetry and creative expression. Here, I'll be sharing verses that capture fleeting emotions, stories that need telling, and thoughts that refuse to stay quiet in my mind. Some pieces might be in English, others might dance between languages. Think of this as an open invitation to pause, breathe, and find beauty in the ordinary.
